My Work-”Out” and Work-”In” Schedule

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Good morning people. Alot of people ask what do I do for exercise. I definatley like to mix in “working-in” and “working-out”. Below is my last 7 days of activities. I like to stay functional in all the primal pattern movements(push, pull, twist, bend, lunge, squat, gait) which I will be covering in more detail later.

Monday-went surfing, used the TRX to cover the pulling primal pattern movement
Sunday-yoga for dummies, obliques, multifidus exercise
Saturday-yoga for dummies, stretch
Friday-20 minute jog. I like to get my heart rate up by taking less rest time between sets when I am functionally training but I do jog once a week.
Thursday-yoga for dummies
Wednesday-push-up variations, and I used my moms magazine holder as a weight to do 2 hand over head pushes to cover the pushing primal pattern movement
Tuesday-surf, stretch

The yoga I do is usually no longer then 15 minutes. It’s a good way for me to re-balance, strecth and strengthen at the same time.
