Working-In While On Vacation

Sunday, July 25th, 2010

Top of the morning to you. Below is a short video of me working-in on my vacation to Washington and Oregon last week. I made a conscious effort to take a break from working-out and let me body rest and repair for 8 days. During the week I went on slow walks, yoga, stretching, breathing exercises, and went on a very easy slow hike to Wachala Falls. This allowed me to cultivate more energy then I expended. Working-in can improve sleep, energy levels, blood pressure, heart rate, mood, and digestion. Here at Dunamis Fitness exercise is one tool I use to get you back to optimal health and vitality. Each exercise program is created specifically for your unique needs.

Food While On Vacation

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

What’s up guys. Below I have 2 videos on what I have been eating during my vacation. Sometimes you can’t eat the best quality food but you can eat for your metabolic type. 2 of the biggest questions I get at Dunamis Fitness is how do I follow the eating plan when I am out of town and how do I exercise properly when I am out of town. If you want to take the metabolic typing test call or email at your convenience. It will change your life.

Grains/Rheumatoid Arthritis

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Good morning people. I am still on vacation up in Washington/Oregon and I hope to have some videos for you all to see this weekend. Rheumatoid Arthritis runs in our family and did you know that the amino acid sequence of grain is similar to many peoples synovial tissues. Synovial tissues are tissues that line your joints. Synovial membranes produce the slippery fluid that lubricates your joint called synovial fluid. If you look at the amino acid sequence of a grain it looks very close to the synovial tissue amino acid sequence. When immune antibodies are out hunting around your body looking for invaders they think synovium(when it becomes sensitized to grains), is grain and attacks your joints and thus you have inflammatory diseases of joints or arthritis. If you have RA or any type of inflammatory issues I encourage you to cut out all grains for 2 weeks and see how you feel. I bet some of your aches and pains disappear. Go for it!

Neurotransmitter Problems

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Did you know that 4 of the most common underlying causes of neurotransmitter problems are nutritional deficiencies, neurotoxicity, neuron bundle damage from physical trauma, and genetic defects of neurotransmitter production.

Depression-Digestion

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

One of the well established side effects of food intolerances and food allergies is depression. Furthermore, inefficient protein digestion deprives the body amino acids from which you make many of the key brain chemicals. Click here to learn more about the MRT food sensitivity test. Have an awesome day.

Ways To Sleep Well

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

Good morning guys. Below are a couple tips to help you sleep better.
1-avoid bright lights 2 hours before bed(T.V. included). Sleep in complete darkness.
2-eat right for your metabolic type so you have balanced blood sugar. Unstable blood sugar can wake you up throughout the night.
3-do not look at the alarm clock if you wake up in the middle of the night.
4-avoid stimulants such as caffeine after 3pm as the half life of caffeine is 6 hours.
5-eliminate all sugar.

Whoops, my bad. I meant to say that physical repair happens between the hours of 10pm-2am and psychic repair takes place between the hours of 2am-6am.
